Theuptodatesafety.net as homepage and other viruses?

i seem to have just gotten a bunch of viruses on my computer, including one that redirects my homepage to theuptodatesafety.net when it's supposed to be yahoo, saying stuff like how i need to install all this adware stuff. i've been trying to look up info about it and i've also been trying to do as many scans as i can but they don't seem to help this. i also get ''cannot find server'' links to www.404dnserror.net with a little bar that comes up saying ''The page you are looking for is probably blocked by adware/spyware on your PC. Remore it with System Doctor software. CLICK HERE.''

i also get a security pop up like this like keeps popping up again like, 2 seconds after i close it:

and along with all that, i have gotten a new ''protection bar'' like this:
