Does it make more sense that viruses evolved or were created from God and sin?

And how exactly DOES sin create viruses, or did sin only create the sexually transmitted ones, not the airborn ones?

I think that God made the world and He delights in our exploring it and discovering the marvelous complexities He's hidden throughout creation.

Life comes in all shapes and sizes
Lol... SOme of the ridiculous answers!

OK. First of all it depends on what you believe, personally, being a Catholic and also not a total idiot and blind to fact, I know that evolution is real. Now, you can say that evolution is merely a tool of God, that is fine. That is not at odds with religious teaching that God created everything. In fact, some people say that evolution is so amazingly intricate that somthing like God must be behind it.

There is no ''why'' as to the evlution of viruses. Basically, about 4 billion years ago, different molecues started randomly forming chains of proteins called amino acids. Over time, applying the Darwinian maxim of survival of the fittest, the best and strongest chains of these amino acids survived. Eventually, through random occurances, these simple molecules discovered how to replicate themselves by combining in different ways to form RNA. (DNA is a further evolved version of RNA)
