i know that there are all sorts of viruses that a computer can get, right? i wanna be prepared and know how to fix the problem when it occurs but i need to know how to do it so can someone please shed some light on this subject and explain to me how to get the job done and right. PLEASE?! help a fellow out!!!

there are so many different viruses out there its ridiculous and there are hundreds added everyday, its a way for the computer geeks to say hahaha got ya again. anyways so there is no way to be completely ready for them all. But there is free anti virus programs out there on my computer i have ad-aware and avg which are both free on certain sites just download them and they work right away. and these are very easy to figure out.

There are tens of thousands of computer viruses out there and new ones being made every day.
Install an anti-virus program such as Avast (free) or Norton Internet Security (msrp $79) and let the program keep you protected and up-to-date. That's what these programs do.
Or you could wait until you become infected then try to oust the virus on your own. Better hope that it's not a self-mutating virus though. It's really hard to eliminate a virus on your own. After dealing with a KLEZ32 a long time ago... I know from firsthand experience.
