Everytime my computer scans for viruses, the result is the same tracking cookie??

everytime norton antivirus shows me the ''threats found'', I ask norton to fix it and it is fixed.

But everytime my computer scans for viruses which about once a month, the same tracking cookie comes up

What do you think is causing this to happen?

How can I get rid of it once and for all?

A tracking cookie is not a virus. It is always coming up because you keep visiting the same site that it comes from.

Many websites contain tracking cookies....they are non threatening.

If they really bother you (as they do me) just schedule a daily overnight spyware scan %26 remove them each morning.

Unfortunately odds are that the site in question will deny you access if you disable cookies.

You probably keep going to the same website that generates the cookie. If you clean your internet files before you do a scan, it probably won't come up.

Clean internet files == Delete Cookies, Delete Temp Internet files, Clear History
