The first answer given to you is 100% wrong. I have antivirus technology that is state of the art technology and used by the Govt. Of China.

About one month ago, I opened a webpage to see a ''flash movie'' and there were a total of ten embedded trojans in the webpage. My antivurs killed them all, before they were able to get into my system to do the damage. And if one did get in my antivirus would find it and destroy it.

Some people think that all you have to do is go into a porno site. This is not true, as I have gone into sites that sold legal software and their site was embedded with trojans. Same for some ''social sites''.

When I open a webpage I have no idea if there is embedded trojans hidden in the webpage. Only my antivirus knows, as the background scanner will kill the trojans in a split second, before the viruses can ever enter into my system.
