I need help with anti-viruses?

im having a hard time getting anti viruses how can i get 1 n which 1 is a good anti viruse any recommendations will do?

Ugh, please do not install Norton. It slows down your computer and uses rootkits (funnily enough, since thats what you are trying to prevent) to block some viruses.

Kaspersky or NOD32 are by far the way to go. AVG is also decent.

Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Spybot, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info
i use to use norton but that slows the computer down. Now I use kaspersky. Never had a problem with it and it doesn't slow the computer down. I highly recommend it. I bought mine off of ebay for 20 bucks, but I can use it for 3 computers
Free with a registration for avast home. It isn't the best but it is free. Norton makes the best antivirus software. It is not free though.
